Football stadium for 45,000 viewers in Nizhny Novgorod is designed for games 1/8 and 1/4 finals of the 2018 World Cup.
Stadium and equipped park area around it are located in Nizhny Novgorod Arrow region - an elongated piece of land located on the lower bank at the confluence of the Oka and Volga. Land allocated for construction is adjacent to the area of historic buildings on the territory of which the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral - an architectural monument of federal significance is located – this territory is easily visible from the heights of the city center.

Unique image of a stadium is built due to associations with Volga nature such as wind and water. At the same time, the location close to the historic quarters gave the building restraint and rigor silhouette. Easy regular frame which is formed arranged in a circle three-edged pillars bears a translucent canopy over the stands and spectator lobby.
The stadium is a modern sports facility, which meets all the requirements of FIFA and UEFA to such arenas. Taking into consideration that the stadium is a major public building designed to serve the city for many years, the design originally laid the possibility of its diverse use as a multi-functional complex for a variety of public events.
